Nice post. My wife handles our short-term rental. We have the saying that when things go wrong (for example the coffee maker died) it's our opportunity to wow the guest by acting quickly and fixing it within hours (if we can). We replace the coffee maker for a brand new (and better model) right away while they were at the beach.
